These businesses were so vital that for a time\, Connecticut colonial law actually required several towns to have at least one tavern open. On October 4th\, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm\, the Wilton Historical Society will party like it’s 1779 by hosting its own one night only tavern at the museum! \nAttendees can participate in that evening’s history pub trivia contest! \nTicket includes open bar with food courtesy of Jeff’s BBQ.
