Our annual event takes a twist this year with a captivating fusion of opposites\, bringing together the warmth of fire and the chill of ice in a vibrant celebration for our community! \nGuests will be mesmerized at the Town Green by the ice sculpting and wood carving demonstrations allowing them to witness the transformation of raw materials into intricate works of art! Queen Frost and Wintery Snowman will be there to meet and greet with our young guests while fire dancers add a thrilling spectacle and fiery displays for our adults and teens! \n \nIce sculptures will be hidden around Wilton Center for a scavenger hunt and lucky winners will be presented with gift cards to local Wilton business! Wander further as the warmth of bon fires beckons\, inviting you to gather around for relief from the chill and a cozy ambiance for s’mores presented by the Wilton Rotary Club. \nFood trucks will offer hot and spicy\, and cool culinary delights while children are entertained by face painters and fun activities throughout the Town Green. \nJoin us for this lively celebration as we bring our community together to enjoy the festivities and support our local businesses. DESCRIPTION:The annual Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Stroll will be on Friday Dec. 6th! Together with our event sponsor\, Kimco Realty and in partnership with the Town of Wilton\, Wilton Fire Department\, Wilton Volunteers Ambulance Corps.\, Wilton Kiwanis Club and several retailers and businesses in the Town Center\, all are invited to join the festivities beginning at 5:00 pm. \nEVENT UPDATE: The Kiwanis Club of Wilton will once again host the marshmallow roast for the Holiday Stroll! With the fire ban lifted in the State\, we are thrilled to have this family activity back to keep our guests warm and cozy that night! Please visit them at the corner of River Road and the entrance to Schenck’s Island this Friday\, Dec. 6th from 5-8pm. \nGet in the holiday spirit  and make your way to the Town Green to be enchanted by the strolling carolers from the Voice Studio. Families can enjoy crafts and treats provided by our local non-profit organizations\, and meet a special “ELF” strolling through the Town Green. \nIn addition to the festivities at the Town Green\, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.\, Wilton Library staff will welcome visitors outside their front entrance handing out special gift bags with sweet treats\, while supplies last. Children can stop by the Children’s Library to make a special bookmark to take home with their books\, and teens are welcome to visit the Teen Room to make pompom bookmarks. They invite all visitors to shop for gifts and stocking stuffers at the Holiday Book Sale in the gallery. \nAt 5:45 pm we will officially kick off the Christmas season with our tree lighting ceremony followed by the much-anticipated arrival of Santa ushered in by the Wilton Fire Department’s Ladder Truck 5. Children of all ages will be able to visit Santa at the gazebo where they can share their holiday wishes and receive a special treat starting at 6:00 pm. \nCelebrate the magic of the holidays and join in the festivities with our retailers\, restaurants\, and local businesses and we encourage the community to stroll through town\, visit\, shop and enjoy the generous hospitality of participating local businesses that evening! \nThe Chamber would like to give special thanks to our event sponsor\, Kimco Realty along with the merchants and businesses who host such festive and welcoming receptions at their stores. Pick up your frequent shopper card at participating stores or at the Chamber office then SHOP\, SUPPORT\, and WIN prizes! \nGuests will be able to visit merchants with their shopper card and every $25 purchase earns them a stamp (ex: a $75 purchase is equivalent to 3 stamps). After accumulating three stamps\, the shopper can submit their completed postcard to any participating store or at the Chamber office and be entered to win gift cards from our local businesses!
