Wilton Center will be transformed into an exciting\, action packed\, bargain filled\, entertaining and delicious destination for residents and regional visitors. \nThe summer festival is proudly presented by Kimco Realty\, ASML\, Meadow Ridge\, Fairfield County Bank\, The Greens at Cannondale and Wilton Meadows\, and with special participation from the Wilton Rotary Club to support  the numerous retailers\, restaurants\, businesses\, artisans and local organizations who pull out all the stops to showcase our community as a vibrant retail\, service and dining destination. \nIn addition to the shopping and dining opportunities featured during the day\, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce has lined up entertainment with music\, live performances\, and many new activities for the whole family and for our furry friends too! Attractions and activities will be centered around the gazebo highlighted by the “Touch-a-Truck” center sponsored by our community partner\, ASML and featuring vehicles from Wilton Fire Department’s Engine 5 Ladder Truck\, patrol car from the Wilton Police Department and service vehicle from the Wilton Ambulance Corps. DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of Wilton together with the Knights of Columbus Bishop Fenwick Assembly 100 will host its family carnival from Sept. 22-24\, 2023! The carnival will be held at the corner of School Road and Route 7. Carnival hours are: Friday\, Sept. 22\, 6-10 p.m.\, Saturday Sept. 23\, 12- 10 p.m.\, and Sunday Sept. 24\, 12–5 p.m. \nThe Carnival is a great family event and a wonderful way to kick of the autumn season and new school year for the youngsters! The event will offer over a dozen different rides for all ages as well as multiple games and other activities for the whole family. Additionally\, there will be a variety of food trucks and food vendors throughout the weekend event. \nAdmission and parking is free. Wristbands for unlimited rides will be sold for $30 per wristband for each time slot. Individual ride tickets are also available. Volunteers from the Wilton Rotary Club and Knight of Columbus will be overseeing the ticket booth and assisting with wristbands. \nAll proceeds from the carnival will go back into the community to support projects in Wilton as well as global humanitarian programs led by Rotary International. Rotary Club of Wilton is a service club of volunteers with a goal of providing support and funding for local community improvement projects\, non-profit agencies\, youth leadership initiatives\, international humanitarian programs\, and polio eradication worldwide.

Become one of Binky’s Porch Elves and help deliver joy to children with cancer in Connecticut. \nCircle of Care’s holiday gift drive will provide custom gift packages to children with cancer who have been helped by our Financial Assistance program this year with the items collected and delivered by generous “elves” like you! Visit the farm any time from dawn to dusk between November 1st and 5th to drop off your jack-o-lanterns\, pumpkins or gourds to be composted right here at the farm. Please note\, no paint\, glitter\, googly eyes or candles are compostable as they can contaminate the compost when processed. No other food scraps or other organic materials can be dropped off. \nPull into the main entrance at 257 Hurlbutt St. and head to the top of the driveway by the Red Barn. For hundreds of years\, people have walked it for religious\, spiritual\, physical and other personal reasons. Lisa’s journey was a deeply personal one\, as well as a physical challenge. Her walk took her through big cities\, tiny villages\, wide open fields and deep forests. DESCRIPTION:American Sign Language (ASL) is a Connecticut invention. Created by faculty and founders of the American School for the Deaf in Hartford during the early 19th century\, it was inspired by several other sign languages developed in both Europe and America. Today\, ASL is used by hundreds of thousands of people across the United States to communicate. \nJoin the Wilton Historical Society in exploring ASL through a four part series that will offer an introduction to learning the language as well as its history. Classes will be held on four consecutive Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 – October 19th\, October 26th\, November 2nd\, and November 9th. \nRegistration is required and is for all four classes. Admission for the full course is $45 for Wilton Historical Society Members\, $60 for Non-Members. \nPlease register by visiting wiltonhistorical.org or by emailing info@wiltonhistorical.org
