DESCRIPTION:Get ready to ring in the season at the Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Stroll for a truly magical evening on Friday\, December 5th from 5-8pm! The Wilton Chamber\, in collaboration with event sponsor Kimco Realty and partners including the Town of Wilton\, the Wilton Fire Department\, Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps\, Wilton Kiwanis Club\, and numerous local businesses\, warmly invites everyone to join the festivities starting at 5:00 pm. \nThe Fairfield County Brass Quintet will kick off the cheer\, filling the air with timeless holiday classics. Head to the Town Green\, where the Kiwanis Club of Wilton will host a cozy gathering with a marshmallow roast\, hot chocolate\, and a bonfire to keep you warm. \nFamilies can delight in crafts and treats from local businesses and non-profits\, with cookie decorating hosted by the Wilton Rotary Club. Be sure to keep an eye out for a special “ELF” spreading cheer throughout the green! \nThe merriment extends to the Wilton Library from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.\, where staff will be outside their front entrance handing out special gift bags with sweet treats\, while supplies last. Children can also visit the Children’s Library to make a special bookmark\, and all visitors are encouraged to browse for gifts and stocking stuffers at the Holiday Book Sale in the gallery. \nAt 5:45 pm\, the Christmas season officially begins with our tree lighting ceremony\, followed by the highly anticipated arrival of Santa\, chauffeured by the Wilton Fire Department’s Ladder Truck 5. Children can visit Santa at the gazebo starting at 6:00 pm to share their holiday wishes and receive a special treat. \nThe enchanting voices of the carolers from the Voice Studio will entertain visitors after Santa’s arrival. For the first time ever\, bring a chair or blanket and settle in for a special outdoor screening of the holiday classic\, “Polar Express” at the Town Green\, beginning at 6:30 pm. \nWe encourage the community to stroll through town\, visit\, shop\, and enjoy the generous hospitality of participating local retailers\, restaurants\, and businesses. Celebrate the magic of the holidays and join in the festivities! \nThe Chamber extends special thanks to our event sponsor\, Kimco Realty\, along with all the merchants and businesses who host such festive receptions at their stores. DESCRIPTION:Wilton Pumpkin Parade and Trick or Treating Returns! \nThe Wilton Chamber of Commerce\, in collaboration with ASML and the Town of Wilton\, is delighted to announce the return of the eagerly awaited Pumpkin Parade and Trick or Treating event in Wilton Center on Saturday\, October 25th\, from 2 to 4 PM! \nThanks to the collaboration of our event sponsor\, ASML\, everyone is invited to dress up in their spookiest or most creative costumes and collect treats throughout Wilton Center. Gather at the gazebo for some frightful fun\, as we present spooktacular interactive games and activities designed for the whole family! \nPrepare for a day filled with howling good music and abundant entertainment as the Town Green and Wilton Center become a (not so) scary party. Local businesses and non-profit organizations will be out in full force\, distributing sweet treats to all the ghouls\, goblins\, princes\, and princesses joining in the fun! \nTo ensure the safety of all trick-or-treaters\, a section of Old Ridgefield Road\, from the Town Green to Godfrey Road\, will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event. \nWe extend our heartfelt thanks to the generous local businesses\, retailers\, and organizations whose support makes these fall festivities possible\, showcasing Wilton as a wonderful destination to shop\, dine\, and enjoy community life. \nVendor registration is now OPEN and limited to 30 spots.
