STAR, Inc. Lighting the Way is a nonprofit organization based in Norwalk, Connecticut, dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families throughout Fairfield County. For more than 70 years, STAR has provided a wide range of programs and services that help individuals build independence, reach their goals, develop meaningful connections, and live fulfilling lives in their communities.

Through residential services, day programs, employment opportunities, recreation, family support, advocacy, transportation, and more, STAR is committed to creating opportunities for individuals to live meaningful, independent lives while being an active part of their communities.
