The Wilton Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the winners of our SHOP WILTON  promotion! Thank you to all who participated in our initiative to shop local in November and we encourage everyone to continue to shop, dine  and support all our Wilton retailers throughout the year!

Small business is the backbone of our local economy and it is up to all of us to support the businesses that make Wilton great! Please remember that with every purchase you make, it keeps their doors open and keeps their employees working (who are our neighbors, family and friends). It’s up to us to support them and they in return will be able to support our community!

Of the 18,000 + people who live in Wilton if only 4000 residents (less than 25%) spent $10 more a month on shopping local, they increase local sales by $480,000. According to recent statistics $.67 of every dollar goes back into the community.  That’s over $321,000 back into the community through aiding local fundraisers, sports teams, schools, employing residents, etc.

Even during this very difficult time for our small businesses, they still generously sponsored prizes for our event! It truly shows the giving nature of our small business owners for their community! The Wilton Chamber of Commerce has also contributed (2) two $50 gift certificates for the winners of our interactive scavenger hunt. These gift certificates are redeemable at many Chamber member businesses (see list HERE) and make great holiday gifts!

100% of the gift certificate amount goes directly to the local retailer and keeps the funds within our town’s small businesses. They can also be purchased locally at the Village Market or Fairfield County Bank (Wilton Branch only).
