Dr. Kristy Vanacore is a holistic licensed family psychologist, modern medicine woman, spiritual visionary, sacred storyteller, movement maven, and mom of two teen boys who weaves enduring ancient wisdom with modern scientific paradigms to empower individuals and families to thrive.

A prominent trailblazer in the field of holistic psychology for over two decades, Kristy has revolutionized the mental health and personal development industries by creating an innovative rewilding program for all ages and stages. After witnessing the ineffective, misguided, and disempowering practices of modern traditional therapies–both professionally and personally for herself and her children–she recognized that her life’s mission was to bring the health and wellness industry back to its roots to reconnect people with their innate self-healing capacities. Through both private and collective healing experiences, Dr. Kristy helps people of all ages decondition so they can free themselves from the dependency on pills, supplements, and therapies so they can reconnect to the fullness of life.

She speaks of her own Rewilding journey in her authored book ReWilding: A Woman’s Quest to Remember Her Roots, Rekindle Her Instincts, and Reclaim Her Sovereignty. Kristy works with individuals all over the world through both private and collective healing experiences including day retreats locally as well as immersive retreats held across the country.

Dr. Kristy recently expanded her in-person healing and holistic studies mentorship center in Wilton, CT, where she has curated a community-based safe haven for people of all ages and stages to gather in joy. Offerings include private healing sessions; workshops; day retreats; movement classes integrating yoga, martial arts, & dance; shamanic healing; community drum circles & other ceremonial events; drop-in “settling-in” meditation and peace time hours; a “long-table” gathering space for nourishment; and so much more.
