Memory Café, in Partnership with Wilton Library and RVNAhealth

A Monthly Gathering for Those with Memory Challenges and Their Care Partners
Wilton Library, in partnership with RVNAhealth, an independent nonprofit healthcare agency that has served western Connecticut since 1914, invites those living with memory challenges and their care partners to a welcoming, relaxed and supportive monthly gathering inspired by the original Alzheimer’s Cafe in Holland. This Memory Cafe offers an informal and comfortable space to socialize, connect with others who share your journey, and enjoy meaningful moments together.
This month, join professional storyteller Laconia Therrio for stories from cultures around the world. Through folktales, myths, fables, and more, Laconia brings each tale to life while celebrating the things that connect us. Come enjoy an afternoon of storytelling, conversation, and a little trip around the world without packing a suitcase.
RVNAhealth dementia specialists and library staff will be available to offer support and ensure that everyone feels welcome and at ease. To be admitted to the program, each Memory Cafe participant must be accompanied by their care partner for the entire hour.
Registration required. Register by calling Caryn at (203) 762-6320 or at cfquinn@wiltonlibrary.org. Please include both partner’s names and a telephone number or email at which you can be contacted.
